Martin Shiels joins Enclude

ENCLUDE is delighted to announce that Martin Shiels, has joned the ENCLUDE team. Martin's main focus will be the delivery and support of Microsoft Cloud Technologies.

Martin Shiels is a Carlow IT graduate with over 20 years of deep industry experience in delivering solutions from both Microsoft and Apple to companies ranging in size from the very small to the very large corporation. While having worked primarily in the commercial sector, in past roles he has supported and implemented solutions for numerous charities including Trocaire, ISIDA and the Irish Kidney Association. Martin held the role of IT infrastructure Architect for Concern Worldwide for 5 years during which time he traveled to Rwanda to rollout a local ICT set-up project pilot system.

He has joined the Enclude team as he feels a great affinity to our mission and hopes to enable it further by helping deliver and support Microsoft Cloud Technologies.

ENCLUDE announces their first local partner

An exciting new venture was launched in Farmleigh at 9am on the 8^th November 2011 by Minister Pat Rabbitte, for ENCLUDE, an Irish technology charity extending their reach to enable more charities nationwide to benefit from technology donations. Mobileit have been named as their first local partner to deliver and support the technology programme to charities in the Limerick area.

With the generous support from Microsoft, CISCO and Symantec and in conjunction with Techsoup Global (US based Agency), ENCLUDE provides technology donations to Irish Charities in order to reduce the digital divide in Irish society.

Pat Rabbitte launches MobileIt

Minister Pat Rabbitte and his senior officials met with Eamon Stack, CEO and Sylvester Murphy Deputy CEO at his office recently.

The minister heard about both ENCLUDE's Technology Donation's programme and its Technology Solutions programme for the charity sector. The Minister offered to "help if he MinsterPatRabbitte80x120 could" to sign post and encourage State funded charities to apply through ENCLUDE's Technology Donations programme - ENCLUDEit.org - for technology donations from major donors like Microsoft, Cisco and Symantec.

Driving new technology to the charity sector

ENCLUDE received a major award by Social Entrepreneurs Ireland at a ceremony in Dublin on October 7th 2008.
